New Executive Committee

Dear members and friends of NIMFA,

Assalamu Alaikum
I pray to Allah SWT that you are all well, in good health and Iman. I am pleased to say that yesterday on the 3rd of May 2009; we had our AGM for 2009, at NIMFA. The meeting was chaired by Dr Omar Farouki, Trustee, and the AGM was very positive and brotherly, with the highest level of responsibility from all attended.

The meeting started with Quran recitation by Br Ahmad Helmi. There were various reports; the chairman’s by Br Mamoun, treasurer’s by Br Saleem, Hikmah School’s by Br Raeid.

The amendments to the constitution were presented by Br Javaid, and all amendments were passed anonymously by the meeting.
The new Executive Committee was appointed by the Trustees attending, and approved anonymously by the AGM.

The new Executive Committee for 2009-2011 is as follow:

There were other excellent nominations for the Executive, and according to the constitution, the new Executive could co-opt other members in due
time.

I would like here, as the outgoing chairman of NIMFA, to thank Allah SWT for His guidance and help, and to thank all brothers, sisters and young Muslims for their huge contribution during my term in office for the past four years. A special thanks to all members of the previous Executive, and to the Trustees of NIMFA for their on going support.

I also ask Allah SWT to give the new Executive Committee, and its Chairman Br Javaid, all the guidance and support to continue looking after the affaires of the Muslim families living in Northern Ireland.

We pray to Allah SWT that our life as a Muslim community in Northern Ireland will continue to move forward from division to harmony and from strength to strength.
